Op zondag 23 mei 1999 heeft Eric Van Vaerenbergh een Budokai Do Full Contact Karate stage in Kihon, Kata, Tameshiwari, Kobudo en Kumite gegeven te Galle (Sri Lanka).

De stage vond plaats op “Martial Arts Demonstration Day” en werd ingericht door Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate Dojo, onder auspiciën van de FOKSSA.
